To the Musicians

From one musician to another,
Do not get discouraged, music is your passion, it may seem redundant to just play in your own house, but here is the definition of Musician:

musicians  plural of mu·si·cian (Noun)

Noun

1. A person who is talented or skilled in music.
2. A person who plays a musical instrument, esp. professionally.

So even if you don't play shows, events or for people beyond your family, you are still a musician, there are some people that are so discouraged from not going anywhere with their music. I understand completely, I am a guitarist with a stack of songs to learn and am still learning them, I revived them last year, they are what I need to learn in order to play for my youth group just as a leader or to accompany. I am not amazing at playing and I know minimal theory with music.
I encourage you even if you never go anywhere with your music, or gain anything: play for what you believe in, play it for yourself. You know this for a purpose, DO. NOT. GIVE.  UP. there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

to the writer

just to all of you guys who are writing stories, poems, songs,  est. your project is never done until its on the shelf of a bookstore, or on a CD. until then you are stuck in the editing, trying to publish part.
1. have more then one person you know and trust read it
2. dont get discouraged, its hard to publish stuff, thats why its an acomplishmen
3. save up some money so when you are trying to put stuff out you have a safety blanket, DO NOT PULL A SLIDING DOORS ACT, your gf/bf should not have to provide for the two of you!

Chivalry-something most guys in the 21st century lack. P.S. this has nothing to do with my personal life, but I've really notice this with my friends, movies and so on, how the gentlemen population has com down to maybe a third of men out there, and girl's, would it kill you to suport their decision?  It's crazy and sad. Where are all the good people in life???? I say this figuratively because I know where you are, I'm friends with you but I mean everyone else, Where the heck are you!?!?!

The Raven

this movie....
it was well done in my opinion, to the average person it was very gory, there was language. needless to say this movie wasn't for people under the age of 13, although rated R it was pretty mild, I would say about NCIS level, not at all like the series Saw.
the movie is historically incorrect according to his biography (I'm a nerd, I know) but it was cleverly done.  not recommended to people with weak stomachs, you will see dislocated body parts, arms, torso, and a toe. (Do not I watch NCIS so I was unfazed) also if you have a fear of blood a man gets his throat slit and you watch him die.
I am an Edger Allen Poe fan so I was intrigued by the movie. they use references to his writings, if you have ever read them they are dark and mysterious, but I enjoy them.
